Established in 1999, we have earned an impressive reputation in the detection, analysis and presentation of computer evidence in the broadest range of criminal activities. These include fraud, extortion, data theft, child pornography and Internet abuse.
Our clients include legal firms, international banks, blue chip companies, law enforcement and military organisations.
Some of Our Experts
Dr D Hamilton-Wallis BSc (Hons) PhD FRAS
Chairman of Fields Associates, Dr D Hamilton-Wallis’ experience of computers is both extensive and varied. His work initially came to public prominence while pursuing academic research into various areas of the Space Sciences. In collaboration with the Astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle and Astrophysicist Professor N C Wickramasinghe he developed advanced computer programmes modelling the origins of life, for which he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1998. In 1999 he formed UK Digital Solutions Ltd to pursue the commercial research and development of computer-related technologies, such as: Internet security-critical systems, decentralised business process systems and e-warfare. Later that year, as a consequence of the growing demand for computer forensics work, he formed Fields Associates, a specialist computer consultancy firm aimed at providing digital forensic services to both the business and legal community. Dr Hamilton-Wallis is now considered by many to be the UK's leading computer forensics expert witness.
Matthew Jackson BSc (Hons) MBCS
Director of Fields Associates and Head of the Forensics Department, Matthew studied Forensic Computing at Cranfield University and the Royal Military College of Science. Matthew has gained extensive experience of computer handling, from initial search, seizure and forensic examination, through to report production and presentation at court. Matthew is recognised as one of the UK's most respected computer consultants and experienced expert witnesses.
Dr Richard G Lewis BA (Hons) MSc DComm

Having written the best-selling book, 'The Small Business Guide to the Internet', he now specialises in e-commerce, online marketing techniques, white-collar computer crime, hacking, commercial counter-espionage and e-warfare. Richard is currently researching psychological and personality profiling through the analysis of human computer interaction (HCI).
